2008/02/10 visiting the city

finally we made it to visit the beautiful city of new orleans by being guided through all different parts of it.

our tour started right by the mississippi, which we walked along..





.. towards the wonderfully charming french quarter.





by taking the very old [for american terms..] streetcar..



we arrived at garden district in the early afternoon - just as beautiful!
