2008/07/12 chillin' at emile's

we went to visit emile's at venetian isles this weekend. the house had been destroyed by the storm and emile put it right back on track.. with matt's help, certainly :-).

due to the sea level houses are built on pilings [read: 'pilons'], i.e. no cellars. on the other hand, the attics are amazing!
the village's names derives from the fact that the neighborhood is not only connected via streets, but also via canals, like in venice.
