2008/08/19-20 some culture

my first baseball game!

tuesday night we went to watch new orleans zephyrs vs. iowa cubs. we certainly won 9:5.

and now i finally know what a homerun is [i even saw a grand slam, which happens once in a blue moon]..

the next day we continued education by visiting the audubon insectarium in the city. not only did we like the bugs..

*yummie*

..the butterflies seemed to dig us, too.


i enjoyed it a lot, although i think it's kinda weird that you can eat bugs in an insectarium..
