due to my dear friends' worries i'll clearify the current 'hurricane situation' in new orleans or rather the southern states.

the tropical storm 'fay' is currently blowing over florida, therefore no threat at all. besides this, storms and hurricanes are scaled

and everything below category 3 is nothing to worry about at all. if worse comes to worse, we will be informed at least 2 days in advance and have enough time to evacuate. but this is highly unlikely. here you can check on it yourself.
