we started our day with the wonderful union square market, where not only artists showed their pieces [and i purchased the coolest earrings ever!],..
..but also locals sold their organic products. i loved it!
after lingering around some more [and buying numerous books at a local fleamarket to support some children's science project], we caught a train..
..and went straight to coney island on the very south of new york city; an old fair, where numerous movies set their dubious drug or other criminal deals.
however, we enjoyed the famous board walk and the beautiful beachview.to catch a little halloween spirit we went back to lower manhattan for the parade..
i loved the zombies doing the thriller.
