2009/11/21-22 honeymoon in the french quarter

since we stayed in a fancy hotel room and we had just got married.. we felt like special guests in the french quarter; and discovered it just like tourists do.
after breakfast..

.. we lingered through the cute little streets, and finally treated ourselves with a carriage ride through the quarter; we discovered many new things of this beautiful area [such as brangelina's house.. not that it matters, but you know..].

right after that we somewhat accidentally bumped into a hare krishna parade.. which celebrated so joyfully, that we kinda felt high. moreover, they really made the sun come out.

for lunch we went to mr. b's bistro, a famous restaurant, where we had the most incredible food.

in the evening we kinda went wild and went out into the quarter. the first stop was another famous place: preservation hall. here you can listen to the real jazz.. it was amazing!

along frenchmen street they also had some nice things going on.. such as the loyola university brass band. they really rocked and hopefully will be heard of in the next time!

we stayed out long [for our terms] and after sleeping in the next day we went to have breakfast to a place where they have the best po-boys: johnny's.

they indeed were delicious!
