2010/08/29 hidden beauties of my home

Matt insisted on going to the Welser Volksfest to provide some authentic Austrian experience to his mother. No sooner said than done, we would listen to Austrian music in a beertent after having looked at all the rides and food stands.

Luckily, we had met one of Matt's coworkers, who showed us the rest of the city.. and made me realize that I had underestimated the beauty of Wels! Off we went along the Mühlbach..

.. passing the old castle and its gorgeous garden..
.. we hung out downtown for a little while, before we went back home.
The ride home itself was a good opportunity to show Cindy even more treasures of our home.

Gmunden itself is certainly just as pretty!
