2009/10/28 the phantom of the opera

for breakfast we met up with brynne in brooklyn to enjoy healthy food in a cool atmosphere: at a place called egg.

i had the first grits of my life [and would have never thought that i liked them].

later that day we went back to times square to find us some leftover tickets for any broadway show, since you can purchase them really cheap. well, we got lucky; extremely lucky since we were able to get tickets for the phantom of the opera matinée.

as watching the phantom had been a dream of mine ever since, i knew that i would love it.. but matt was stunned, too. as were hundreds of other visitors..

it was quite late when we came back out and because the emotional rollercoaster ride of the story had been exhausting we decided to ride to queens..

..for some nice food. in advance we had organized a coupon for the casa romana, a little place where they serve authentic romanian cuisine. food was plenty and looked delicious..

..but i felt so sick that i unfortunately could not have a single bite. well, that's life.
