2010/03/26 first impressions

having had an incredible workload lately and some graduation stuff, matt & me truely deserved a short city trip vacation.. since i haven't seen my friends romy & sebi in a while [and haven't had the chance to introduce matt, yet] we booked a flight to oh so beautiful hamburg.

hamburg is the second largest, and by far prettiest city in germany due to its hanseatic flair that combines urbanity and nature.

we stayed at the pleschkos' cute appartment,

where we shared the bedroom [pregnancy bonus] with their two pussies heinz & erich. as any other animal, they were totally crazy about matt *shucks*..

after our arrival, romina showed us round down town,


..passing the rathaus and the river alster.


matt gets to know new places by their food, wherefore we stopped by 3 (!) times to try out different classic hamburg stuff..

at night we were invited at a party in the schanzen quarter.. a very trendy and leftish area, where all the cool people [read: we] hang out. since they had a jukebox there, we could pick some austrian stuff, which obviously no one else seemed to enjoy.

after the party we stopped at erika's eck, where we tried some mett [raw ground pork or beef] and other sandwiches.
