we started early so that we could take as much time as we needed.
although we took the - what they call 'easy' - route mairalm, the steep rock climbing was quite a challenge for us.
especially as we had to stop in a cave due to the bad weather. but thanks to resting once in a while,

both movie and hanging out in the cabin was quite entertaining as well. not only was matt introduced to some austrian classics and traditional songs from the salzkammergut..
..but also was he able to learn the austrian version of 'major tom'. enjoy!
we had a wonderful time on this beautiful mountain..
..and after hiking to the top and signing the book..
we climbed back down the next day.
