besides line dancing, climbing on waterfalls, playing in olympic fountains, snorkelling in the wild, diving for keys and lingering along lonely beaches i got to see somewhat exotic animals:

owls, bats, manatees, black bears, hermit crabs, butterflies, wild pigs, baby clams [and a humming bird right after our returning].

we had fun!

matt and i started our roadtrip in the late evening to arrive in jackson in the middle of the night. looking for an inn proved itself not so easily, but finally we got some rest.

jackson is the capital of mississippi, but not really spectacular.

gettin' up at 6.oo am

old capitol

an hour later we left for going to tennessee, to visit elvis' hometown memphis. well, we went for the gift shop first [way better than graceland itself, i bet]..
who's the better elvis?
that's easy..
..and while having fun there, it started to rain heavily. no way to stay in the city under these circumstances.
let's go to nashville!
